Your car, if it was made after the 1970s, will likely have a three-point harness (lap and shoulder belt). The three points refer to the connections the belt has to the car itself to anchor it into place. There will be one above the shoulder, one below the hips on the left and one below the hips on the right. All three are securely anchored to the vehicle’s body frame.
