What is a Class A Driver’s License

In the United States, vehicles are classified according to their total weight. To follow that, driver’s licensing also follows those same classifications to denote skill level. In commercial vehicle licensing, for example, there are generally three classes: A, B, and C. This varies in some states, of course, but most follow these general guidelines.
